Save things with ZupZup and find them again

Collect links, text, and images, then use notes and tags as clues to find them later.

The tabs you leave open to read later keep piling up, but the article you need can still be hard to find. A guide for a day out may be in your browser, an explanation you found while studying in a message, and a reference for your writing in a note. Having a way to find things again matters just as much as having somewhere to save them.

ZupZup is an iOS app for collecting and organizing items such as links, text, and images. You can save something from the share menu in another app, then use its title, a note, or tags as clues to find it again. A recent update also lets you search saved items and notes together, and makes it easier to return to the list you were viewing in each tab after switching tabs.

Write down why you saved it

For example, if you save an article for a weekend outing, a note like “Check what to pack before leaving on Saturday” is more specific than “Good article.” A concrete clue can make the item easier to find later. You can also add a tag to group it with similar items you plan to revisit.

You do not need to move all your old materials into the app at once. Pick one link you expect to revisit this week, save it, and try finding it again with search or a tag. That gives you a chance to check whether the original link and the saved item look as you expect.

Do not assume that saving a link always preserves the whole original webpage or its images. If the original page changes or becomes unavailable, that can affect how you use the saved item. For anything important, check both the saved result and the original page.
